lenses. The most important advantage is that they are completely
resistant to common industry solvents. By contrast Polycarbonate lenses
are extremely sensitive to many solvents and even the slightest contact
can render polycarbonate eyewear unsafe.
SAI GLOBAL ACCREDITATION
SAI have given Hoya Phoenix Safety Eyewear its stamp of approval after the rigorous testing of all frames and
lenses. Before certification, each model is tested independently by a NATA accredited laboratory. Tests include: low
impact, medium impact, and penetration tests at both ambient and elevated temperatures. Thickness criteria and
prescription accuracy are also checked. SAI Global also conducts a bi-annual check of all manufacturing process
to ensure they comply with ISO09002 requirements. All Hoya PHOENIX safety lenses from Sightmakers not only
comply with AS/NZS 1337.6 but in addition are now certified SAFE by SAI Global (Licence # SMKH20522).

Scratch coatings are designed to improve the durability of
the eyewear. An optional anti-reflection coating called Hi-

improving work safety.Phoenix can betinted to sunglass GREY, GREEN or BLUE. We can
vary the level of
tint to best suit
